About Natalia
Natalia is a comedy writer originally from the Detroit area.
As a little girl, Natalia was awed and energized by stories; they were what made her most excited about being alive. This passion led to her to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (Go Blue!) where she received BA in Film/Television and English, with minors in Writing and German. It was there she also discovered a knack for writing jokes, publishing over 30 articles for The Every Three Weekly, the university's acclaimed Onion-style newspaper. She even animated a few of her own short films. While writing jokes is her favorite part of being a writer, Natalia enjoys exploring heartfelt stories of girlhood, diversity, friendship, autonomy, and courage. Natalia currently works in research at Wayne State University in the city of Detroit. In her free time, Natalia enjoys riling up the dog, conversations about Sustainable Urbanism, and eating sandwiches. |

"I write entirely to find out what I'm thinking, what I'm looking at, what I see and what it means. What I want and what I fear."
-Joan Didion
